Algonquin Park is Canada’s oldest national park and Ontario’s greatest treasure. Spanning almost eight thousand square kilometers between Georgian Bay and the Ottawa River, the park’s forests, rivers and numerous lakes are home to moose, bears and loons.

Our Outdoors Club will be sleeping under the stars (in a tent☺️) at Canisbay Lake Campground and taking the last weekend before Thanksgiving to be grateful for the natural beauty of our Canadian wilderness.

Canisbay Lake Campground

Canisbay Lake Campground is located on the shores of Canisbay Lake, just off Highway 60. This hardwood 242-site campground has  deciduous trees, making it a beautiful option for fall.

On this trip, we will go on some scenic hikes, relax on one of the two beaches, play some card games, sing some songs around the campfire, and of course we will be roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. It will be a great bonding experience to tuck away in your treasure chest of happy memories!
