VLADIMIR DEMINE
Principal
Vladimir Demine has been the Principal of the Rotman Arts and Science School since its establishment in 2004. Vladimir has a background in law and worked as a lawyer and a judge. Vladimir was appointed as the director of the Ontario College of Pharmacists by the Lieutenant Governor and was a member of a public advisory committee for the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services.
JEMILLE CHU MORRISON
Vice-Principal
Dr. Chu Morrison has been a certified Ontario teacher for more than 20 years. She has a B.A. from McGill University, a B.Ed. and M.A. from U of T, as well as a Ph.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning, from the University of Toronto. She has taught from K-12 in Canada, China, and Mexico. Dr. Chu Morrison also worked as a curriculum coordinator in Tanzanian for 15 years. During that time, she implemented her doctoral research on the potential of a global reading program to empower children. In 2016, she was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by the York Catholic District School Board for her commitment to Global Education.
VICTORIA MIRONOVA
Artistic Director
Victoria Mironova, M. Ed. is an accomplished Russian ballerina, ballet instructor and choreographer, now residing in Vaughan, Ontario. She is the founder and artistic director of Victoria Ballet Company and RASS’s Dance Division (Victoria international Ballet Academy), the only private school in York Region that offers a K-12 Ontario certified - curriculum and a professional ballet program. Ms. Mironova laid the groundwork for this unique institution back in 1977.
